This week’s meeting won’t be spooky, but it will be a great opportunity to hear from David Wing from Expeditors and Fernanda Brandao from PACCAR, which are two major employers of WWU IBUS students! Come prepared to listen about their international experiences working in their respective companies. Don’t miss out on this very special meeting!

Hey everyone,

It’s starting to feel a lot like Midterms Week, but don’t let that get you down! Take a well-deserved break and pop in to our unique meeting this Thursday(10/26).

This week we will be having Ray Lucero, the International Manager for Alpha Technologies, joining us for a discussion on how the Tech Industry is applying international business principles to better perform globally! Alpha Technologies provide the Cable TV/ Broadband, Industrial and Renewable Energy industries with some of the most reliable, technologically advanced and cost-effective solutions. If you are interested in a job internationally and works closely within the Tech industry, we recommend that you don’t miss out on this meeting! As usual, we will meeting in Parks Hall 146 at 5pm this Thursday(10/26).

Chips, Dip, and Finance

Hello Everyone!

Last week was a great start to the quarter and it was great to hear about all of your

This week we will be having the wonderful Mary Nichols from the Financial Services on campus speaking to us about how to invest, budget, and finance our money effectively after college, so that we can be savvy in both our professionals and personals lives. So stop by and have some chips and dip while learning about personal financing.

So many of you came out last week! It was wonderful to speak with all of you and to get you excited for this school year’s club meetings!

David Wing is coming to speak at IBN this Thursday, May 18th at 5pm in PH 228! David is an account manager at Expeditors International, a company that is a major employer of WWU IBUS grads. As our ‘insider’ to Expeditors, come hear what he has to say from his 18+ years of experience at the company and how they judge job candidates!

On Thursday, April 13th at 5pm in Parks Hall 228 Rob
McCormack is coming to IBN to speak about Erin Baker’s Bakery! Erin’s Bakery is a local business from right here in Bellingham but distributes their baked goods to different locations around the country. Come hear about the bakery’s experience expanding internationally and the challenges that come along with it. Feel free to bring friends or anyone that has an interest in hearing about the club.
