Hello, Aspiring Business Professionals!

We would like to thank everyone who joined us for our mock interview session with Jay Terrenal!

To prepare you for the upcoming career fair, IBN will be holding a Resume Workshop this

Thursday, October 20th5pm in PH 244!

It will be lead by Shelley Pearson from the Career Services Center. She will go over what a proper resume should include, be formatted, and how to personalize it for your professional interests.

Please bring a printed out copy of your current resume for editing!

Also, don’t forget to bring $5 for the membership fee.

Fall Quarter First Meeting and Club Officer Positions Available!

Hey guys!

The club is looking for new officers for Fall quarter! We’d like to invite everyone to an informational meeting we’re hosting tomorrow evening, Thursday, at 5pm in PH 244.  In this meeting we’ll touch on the features and benefits the IBN club has to offer and what officer positions are open!

Below is a list of the positions are currently open for Fall quarter!


The Secretary is responsible for the taking of minutes of each of the business meetings (including officers’ business meetings), typing them, and presenting them at the next business meeting for review and possible further discussion. The Secretary is also responsible for organizing a committee to keep accurate attendance records at all International Business Network Club meetings and activities. This committee will also be responsible for collecting fees from non-members. The Secretary is responsible for creation and update of the membership roster of IBN Club. The Secretary will also keep a record of all attendees at International Business Club meetings, and maintain current nametags for all members.


Vice President of Marketing

The VP of Marketing’s main job is that of communication. They are responsible for making and posting weekly notices about the Thursday night meetings. These notices should be posted no later than the Tuesday afternoon before a Thursday night meeting. Copies of the notices should also be printed out for the Marketing folder. He/she must maintain regular contact with the VP of Activities in order to post current information. The President of Marketing is also responsible for making notices and large posters advertising upcoming special events and other International Business Club activities.

Webmaster/ Social Media

The Webmaster’s primary job is to keep the website up to date. This includes keeping the calendar of events and volunteer activities current, as well as other items of interest to members. (Check with other members, officers, and the Faculty Advisors.) The Webmaster is also responsible for placing officer photos and contact information on the website.
Depending  on the future growth of the club, more positions may open up, stay tuned!

CISabroad Info Session!

Are you interested in an internship abroad? Or what CISabroad has to offer?

Well this Thursday, May 5th, we’re proud to announce that speaker Victoria Quill, a CISabroad Representative, will be Skyping in to talk about customized internship programs, her CISabroad experience, and much more!

This meeting will take place in PH 104 at 5pm!

Fist Meeting of Spring Quarter!!!

Welcome back to spring quarter! We hope everyone had a nice break!

We have our first meeting of the quarter tomorrow! To kick things off, Professor Marko Madunic will be doing a presentation titled:”What should I do with my IBUS education and how do I get the biggest bang for the buck from it? Myths and truths.”

This will be a presentation that you don’t want to miss!
